ACTIVITIES 

Praise, Prayer & The Word ~ Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the ONC Sanctuary.

Men's Prayer ~ Saturdays, 7:30-8:30 a.m. in Room 100.

Ladies' Prayer ~ Saturdays, 7:30-8:30 a.m. in Room 22.

Men's & Ladies' Breakfast Fellowship ~ On Summer break; will resume in September.

Men's & Ladies' Thursday Breakfast - 7:00 a.m. ~ Coco's, on Sepulveda near 118 Freeway.

Tuesday Bible Study, 7:00 p.m. ~ "One-To-One Discipleship" in Room 24. Open invitation to attend.

Bible Class, Wednesdays at 10 a.m. ~ Darla Severn is leading in Room 24 and everyone is welcome.  The class will be meeting through the end of June  and will have their closing Luncheon on June 30th.

College / Career "The Bridge" ~ Has various events. For more info call Greg & Jan Rush at their cell or home numbers.

Osborne Outreach (OO) ~ On Summer break.

Osborne Indian Outreach (OIO) ~ Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month, 7 p.m. in Room 22. OIO Prayer meeting Sundays at 4:30 p.m., also in Room 22.

Saturday,  5th & 19th, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ~ Our Food Pantry is usually open on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month at Room 23 to serve those with a need.

Saturday, 1st & 15th, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. ~ “Hearts for the Homeless” serves 2 meals and ministers to the homeless (usually the 1st & 3rd Sat. each month) at 2 locations. Ministry needs donations of new or gently-used, blankets, wash cloths, sweatshirts, warm socks & tennis shoes.

 Help youth/college "EARN" money for camp. If you have odd jobs / tasks (yard work, cleaning, babysitting, etc.) that they could do to earn money please contact coordinator Jennifer Donnelly at randjdonnelly@yahoo.com.

Please Note:    The Marriage Retreat.has been postponed until a later date. (Date is as-yet-undetermined.)

Saturday, June 12th, 7:00 p.m. ~ Youth & College/Career groups sponsor a Coffee House in the Warehouse, complete with Karaoke singing, great goodies to buy, and of course, some of the "very best" coffee brews available on the property. This will be a fundraiser to help with the newly-formatted "earn your way to camp" financial assistance program.

Thursday, June 24th, 7:00 p.m. ~ VBS meeting. Come "Decode The Mystery." All are invited to join us to check-out this year's VBS happenings & to pray for this ministry.

LOOKING AHEAD

Sun. 4th of July ~ OIO sponsored BBQ/Potluck from 1:30-5:00 p.m.  Hamburgers, hotdogs & beverages will be provided. People are being asked to bring specific "All-American" side-dishes to share. Look for a "sign-up table" in the courtyard so you'll know what specifics you should bring. Some of our Native American brothers & sisters in the Lord will be here to fellowship with us, to bring some good music and a words of encouragement.

VBS (Vacation Bible School) ~ This year will be August 2-6. (Please mark your calendars with these planning meetings: Thursday nights, 7:00 pm, 7/15, & 7/29.

FAMILY CORNER

Our Congratulations to Dave & Lena Rottner announce that their adoption of Samuel David Rottner is now official, as of Friday May 14^th. Thank you for all of your prayers. Their family has also expanded to welcome sibling, baby Noah (a brother to Samuel), as a new addition to their family.

Our Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Northrop. Daniel & Chelsea were united at a beautiful marriage ceremony & reception here at ONC on Saturday, May 22nd.

Our Prayers & Sympathy to Jan & Freda Kindy and family at the passing-on to be with the Lord of Louisa Cantrell, the wife of Freda’s brother, Jack. Louisa moved-on to Glory at the City of Hope Hospital on May 6th.

Our Prayers & Sympathy to John & Kathy Rojas, David Rojas and the entire family at the passing away of John & David’s mother on May 7^th. Be praying for God’s arms of comfort to surround each family member.

Our Prayers & Sympathy to David O'Brien Jr. (one of our Osborne youth) & the entire family at the passing of his father, David O'Brien Sr. on May 19th. We will have a memorial service here at ONC for David O'Brien Sr. on Sat. 5th, at 1:00 p.m.

Our Prayers & Sympathy to Olan Taylor, Stan & Daisy Taylor, John & Leslie Hertweck and Mike & Lisa Cranshaw and the extended Taylor Family at the home-going this morning, June 5^th, of their precious wife, mother and grandmother, Janis Taylor.  Be praying for God’s special comfort to surround Olan and each family member in His perfect way during this time of remembrance and celebration of her life, and in the days ahead.
